(born 1986) (Kodagu) is a squash player based in India. She reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 13 in December 2015. Joshna was the first Indian to win the British Squash Championship title in 2003 in the under 19 category and was also the youngest Indian women's national champion. Joshna Chinappa is the first beneficiary of Mittal Champions Trust. A trainee of the Indian Squash Academy (erstwhile ICL academy), Chennai, Joshna was ranked 19th in the world in March 2014.
At the 2014 Commonwealth Games she along with Dipika Pallikal won the squash women’s doubles gold medal, making it India's first ever Commonwealth Games medal in the sport.



Achievements 

In May 2012, Joshna defeated Sarah Jane Perry of England 9-11, 11-4, 11-8, 12-10, to win the Chennai Open.[2] On Feb 2, 2014, she won the Winnipeg Winter Open trophy - her maiden WSA world title, by defeating Egypt`s Heba El Torky 11-13 11-8 11-5 3-11 12-10 in the final.[3]

Nisha Millet - swimmer

Nisha Millet  -   swimmer born 20 March 1982, is a swimmer from  Bangalore ,  Karnataka ,  India . Nisha Millet, and the Arjuna Award winner, was the only woman in the 2000  Sydney   Olympics  swim team for India. Career Millet started swimming in 1991 at the age of 9 and won her first medal in 1992 at the sub junior nationals. Initially she was coached by her father at the Dolphin club in Chennai. When she showed a lot of promise by winning 4 Gold Medals as a 12yr old at the Senior National Championships held in Goa, her family shifted to Bangalore to focus on her swimming career.   She then progressed on to represent India at various international competitions.  It culminated with her representing  India in Olympics  at the  2000 Summer Olympics held in Sydney  after training under coach Pradeep Kumar at the  Basavanagudi Aquatic Centre . She is the reigning Captain of the Indian women’s Kabaddi team and has been awarded the Rajyotsava Prashasti, 2nd highest award by the Govt. of Karnataka.
